🔍 Role Overview

My Design Minds is hiring for Project Manager Jobs for responsible, detail-oriented, and execution-focused professionals who can manage projects end-to-end, coordinate with multiple teams, handle clients and vendors, and ensure timely and profitable project delivery.

This role is ideal for candidates who have worked in design agencies, engineering services companies, manufacturing support firms, or project-based organizations, where coordination, follow-ups, documentation, and accountability are critical.

As a Project Manager, you will act as the central point of control between clients, internal teams, vendors, and management. You will be responsible for planning, tracking, communication, billing coordination, invoice coordination and project closure. This is not a theoretical project management role—this is a hands-on operational role where execution matters more than certifications.


🛠 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Project Planning & Execution

  • Understand project scope, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies

  • Break projects into tasks and assign them to internal teams

  • Track project progress and ensure milestones are achieved on time

  • Identify risks, delays, or blockers and take corrective actions

  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and scope


🔹 Team Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate daily with design, engineering, and operations teams

  • Track task allocation, productivity, and deliverables

  • Ensure clarity of responsibilities among team members

  • Conduct follow-ups to maintain accountability

  • Support team members in resolving execution-related issues


🔹 Client Handling & Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients

  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and deliverables clearly

  • Handle client queries, feedback, and coordination professionally

  • Manage expectations and avoid scope creep

  • Ensure client satisfaction through timely communication and delivery


🔹 Vendor Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate with external vendors, service providers, and consultants

  • Track vendor deliverables, timelines, and quality

  • Support vendor onboarding and documentation

  • Ensure vendor work aligns with project requirements

  • Coordinate vendor payments with the accounts team


🔹 Billing, Invoicing & Ledger Support

  • Coordinate invoice generation based on project milestones

  • Maintain basic project-wise billing and cost tracking

  • Support maintenance of client and vendor ledgers

  • Track receivables, payments, and follow-ups

  • Coordinate with the accounts team for accurate documentation


🔹 Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, and reports

  • Use MS Excel for project tracking, billing summaries, and status reports

  • Maintain records of project scope, revisions, and approvals

  • Prepare simple management reports on project progress and issues


🔹 Use of Digital & AI Tools

  • Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT or similar productivity tools) for drafting emails, reports, summaries, and documentation

  • Improve efficiency by automating repetitive coordination tasks

  • Use digital tools for tracking, communication, and documentation

  • Adapt quickly to new tools and systems as the company scales


✅ Mandatory Skills & Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (tracking, reports, summaries)

  • Experience in invoice coordination, billing follow-ups, and ledger support

  • Ability to manage teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholders

  • Strong client communication and coordination skills

  • Understanding of project workflows in service-based companies

  • Comfort with AI tools for productivity and documentation

  • Good organizational and multitasking skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines


🎓 Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in Engineering, Management, Commerce, or related fields

  • Experience in design agencies, engineering services, manufacturing support, or project-based companies

  • Basic understanding of costing, billing cycles, and project profitability

  • Exposure to operations or account coordination roles


➕ Good to Have

  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously

  • Familiarity with basic project management concepts

  • Knowledge of internal reporting and process documentation

  • Ability to suggest improvements in workflows and coordination

💰 Salary & Compensation

  • ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Fixed Salary)

  • Salary based on experience, execution capability, and responsibility handling
